Extraction and Surgical Extractions
Our motto is always to save teeth first as there is nothing better than a healthy tooth. However, when there is extensive decay, trauma or fracture to a tooth, your dentist may advise you to extract it. Extractions involve local anaesthetic which is given to numb the area. Thereafter, the procedure is painless. In some instances teeth may be impacted or very brittle and a normal extraction procedure would not suffice. In these cases your dentist would advise surgical removal of the tooth in the chair.
